European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation

Mission Statement:
We contribute to and promote civic society and solidarity between nations

The European Meeting Centre –Nowy Staw Foundation was founded in 1993. The Foundation supports all the social initiatives which aim at establishing the civil society, cooperation and the unity between nations. The Foundation actively supports Polish integration into the EU structures, it makes Lublin and Lublin area known and promotes them as a focal point of different cultures and nationalities. The Foundation strengthens the idea of democracy, self-government, social market economy and solidarity of nations as well as the intercourse among nations beyond all boundaries by educating all generations.

The main objectives of the Foundation involve:

●      Promotion of civil approach.

●      Supporting Eastern European countries in their drive towards democracy and creation of the civil society.

●      Motivating general public, especially young generations, to social involvement and responsibility for their own communities.

●      Organizational and theoretical support for all the institutions working for the good of local labor market, motivating the unemployed, especially from rural areas.

●      Promotion of the idea of the society founded on knowledge, utilizing modern multimedia tools and techniques.

●      Dedicating operations to conscious and effective membership in the EU structures.
