IHeartFilms is a new not for profit company run by three media professionals with many years of experience in filmmaking, script development and training of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in all aspects of basic film production.

Our experiences have included making short films with young people on a variety of subjects which feature lack of understanding due to poor communication skills and include racism which is particularly relevant in our area due to the under representation of Ethnic minority groups. 

We are preparing funding bids to carry out a series of filmmaking workshops which will culminate in a short film festival on the subject of Cultural Diversity in the new year which we hope will lead into YEFF Slovenia 2011.

Sian is busy writing a sitcom for television and moving house whereas Phillip is working for the Welsh Assembly Government in design and communication and Merv is busy with New Image film Productions, a commercial Promotional media company and a recently acquired business franchise.

IHeartFilms is an extra curricular organisation that will be visiting youth groups on a regular basis to work with small groups of young people making short films to assist their communication and media production skills.
