Yeff! France 2007 took place in France from June 29 to 10 of July, 2007.
During
12 days, It gathered 64 young people from 11 European countries.
European groups were welcomed by French groups in several French
regions. Then all the participants gathered in the Paris region.
ACTIVITIES
- Workshops! Des ateliers de réalisation!
Framed by professional filmmakers, young people had the opportunity to confront their points of view and to express themselves freely by making films.
- Public screenings! Des projections publiques!
- About 30 films of young amateur filmmakers were screened as well as films of professionals on cultural diversity.
- Debates and meetings! Des débats et des rencontres!
Yeff! gave the public and the participants a chance to discuss
with professionals of cinema, on
topics of European identity, cultural minorities,an other topics raised
by young people in their films.
SCHEDULE
- From 29 June to 4 July : European groups will be welcomed by French groups in several French regions.
- English and Swedish groups - Franche Comté - City of Dôle
- Italian group - Bretagne - City of Rennes
- Slovenian and German groups - Centre - City of Tours
- Portuguese group - Ile de France - City of Les Mureaux
- Dutch group - Pays de la Loire - City of Angers
- Belgium and Polish groups - Nord-Pas-de Calais- City of Lille
- Spanish group - Rhône Alpes- City of St Etienne
- From 5 to 10 of July : all the participants will gather in Marly-le-Roi.
Participants will show their film (the film they have made in their
country and the Yeff! film made in region). Discussion about the topics
and the form with media professionals in a convivivial atmosphere.
